Drainage

Manholes constructed from basic 450mm diameter plastic chambers up to 5m diameter concrete chambers and at depths from less than 1m up to 10m deep.

 

Over the years all types of ground conditions from good solid clay to running sand below the water table have been encountered and overcome.

Water Attenuation

Water attenuation involves underground water storage tanks which are used primarily in heavy rain / flash-flood situations. These tanks are used to reduce the amount of surface water released into the existing system, which in turn avoids back-ups and allows the water to be dispelled at a manageable flow rate.

 

As can be seen by our gallery photographs, these systems come in different designs and tend to be used more in commercial than residential developments, but they can still be used for car park situations within residential sites.
